Graduate students

We are always looking for talented graduate students. If you are interested in pursuing your Ph.D. at UConn (and Haskins), have a look at the Language & Cognition site. You could also email Jim Magnuson for specific details about current projects, and advice about applying.

Postdocs

Current funding for postdocs is already allocated. If you are interested in seeking funding with Jim Magnuson as your sponsor, please drop him an email.

Positions for undergraduates

We are deeply committed to undergraduate education, and there is no better way to learn about experimental psychology than by doing it. If you are interested in exploring research in psychology, or just looking for an interesting job, please contact Jim Magnuson.

We almost always have room for students with work-study funding, and will be happy to discuss possibilities for credit using PSYC 297 or 299. We often (but not always) have sufficient funding to hire undergraduate students for pay.

Other positions

We are not yet officially searching, but may be looking for a half- or full-time lab manager to start in Fall 2008 or Spring 2009.
